Roll Call: Roll was called with eleven members present.

Motion to Add: Bob Hursh - Friars & Gaines - Silver Terrace, Friars Village - Park Place HOA, President
Treasurer for People for trees. All in favor.
Wayne Bamford was also added. All in favor.

Legislative Aides' Comments and Announcements:

Marilyn Mirrassoul from Valerie Stallings' Office - tour of the Western Police Station is to hold December 14, Saturday, at 7 p.m. Concern was voiced to Marilyn about putting two instead of one sidewalk at Ulric so Joggers are not forced into the street by coming traffic. Grant writing workshop - sponsored by City (for free) on 11- 2-1998 ADA (American's with Disabilities Act) issues with sidewalks - theory - need to be made more accessible for people with walkers. Mission Valley preserve program this Thursday night Morena Business Improvement District - close to approval - Greg Findlely is Chair.

Man Phan from Barbara Warden's Office -Thanks for clean tip. Money donated to fund Linda Vista Newsletter to get it going again after one and a half year cap. Genesee Phase II. Re-surfacing to Linda Vista road at Tait - do again.

Police Department:

Sat. Pat Cooley - Ph. # 692-4865
Crime in rogress - call 911 if you ire witnessing grafitti. Golf carts stolen from Friars and Via Las Cumbres.

Re-opening of Linda, Vista Community Center.

Bayside Settlement- event on November 18 - banquet for community success.
December 5- County is holding forums - what we want in community centers. It will be at Mesa College c ampus from 9-3 p. m.

Fire Department:

Rocky Delgadello invite public for tour of the fire engine and check out their programs - paramedic system - San Diego Med. Enterprise. Net $727.00 from program. Eight minutes or less guaranteed response to your call. Equipping with up-to-date equipment to help save lives. Firefighters will meet with board members to show fire engine.

Flocke & Avoyer - proposed development - Mike Barton has received comments - he will respond to comment.

Water Project: John Quasar

Group job 48 - water in replacement - 12/98 - 5/99 from 7am to 4pm, are the hours of construction from Monday to Friday. Orion Construction representatives were present at the meeting. City inspector was also present and handout was available with map and phone numbers to call. Discussion on the Glidden pavement replacement and slurry seal on others.

Chery, from City of San Diego Household Hazardous Materials (Ph. 235-2111 for Hazardous Waste Hotline) Collection event information for Public facilities Plan - Goal is to prioritize list. Will environmental Documentation need to be revised when future study area is addressed.

Representatives, Vacancies and Elections:

Election for balanced representatives of all areas of Linda Vista is going to be field on March 1999. All are encouraged to apply. There is a concern about the unbalanced representation of the areas of Linda Vista so Mr. Ron Tomcek, a board member is chair of a sub-committee to look into that matter.
