Meeting was called at 7.10 p.m.

Roll Call: Don Armitage, Don Ballantyne, Wayne Bamford, Mike Barton (absent), Doug Beckham, Richard Brasher (absent), Pat Buckmaster, Jo-Ann Carini, Call Cole, Ed Crammer, Ken Devoe, Jim Horsley, Bob Hursh, Alfrieda Jackson, Pam Juarez, Mel McKay, Mike O'Brien, Rob Spahitz, Liliani Stiffler, Ron Tomcek.

Total Meeting Attandence: 21

Pledge of Allegiance: Done by the LVPC Board.

Approval of Minutes of August and July: Approved

Government Aide's Reports: none.

Sub-committees' Reports: Ken Bassler had questions about the Lear-Quest Quarter and Mike O'Brien suggested a look at project application # 99-0306. (Refer to the application handout) A request for sub-committee's approval. A motion was made by Pat Buskmaster and seconded by Doug Beckham. The motion was approved. A question was made by Ron Tomcek about Elmor St. regarding of no fire hydrants (or not working), and where are the new pipes being put in? Would like more information on those issues. Mike O'Brien suggested that Transpotation/Traffic should cover that issue. Also reports of abuse to fire hydrants were voiced by this sub-committee. Alfrieda Jackson was added to the Transportation Committee. Gail Cole was voted by the committee to represent the LVPC on the North Bay Redevelopment PAC. Motion was made by Pat Buckmaster and seconded by Pam Juarez. Motion approved. It was agreed for Gail Cole to send letter to City for notification of her position.

Compact: Mike O'Brien reported that voting be held till further investigation on project regarding Napa and Linda Vista Rd. Gail Cole requested a motion to let wording stay "as needed". Two committee members opposed while the rest approved the motion.
