Public Comment:
Suggested by Rick Bussell to discuss earlier meeting time for LVCPC meetings at future meeting
Suggested by Wayne Bamford that the LVCPC conduct a review of the condition of the City Parks within the area of the Planning Committee.
Senior Lunch funding problems outlined by Grover Diemert and a call for ideas and help to continue the program. Twenty to thirty seniors are served by the program which will be discontinued this week unless funds are found.
Main Presentation
Francis Parker School Planned Development (Project # 31079) was outlined by Greg Shannon and other representatives of the school. The committee voted Yes 12, No 0 to approve the Planned Development Permit subject to compliance with all city regulations.
Route 66 Service Station progress update was given by the owner, Amad Mike Attisha.
Wireless Communication Facility (Project # 59024) at USD was presented by Stephanie Whitlock of USD and Deepak Katara of T-Mobile. The committee voted Yes 12, 0 No to approve the permit with a strong recommendation that it be placed elsewhere on the campus other than on the USD Science and Technology building and that all other city regulations be satisfied.
Site Development Permit (Project # 57614) to construct 24 additional units at Levant and Fulton was put over to a future meeting when the completed plan is available.
Site Development Permit (Project #) for Environmentally Sensitive Lands to construct a single family residence at 1688 Ulric was put over to the February, 2005 meeting, or at such time as plans are more complete.
Buenos Street Map Waiver (Project # 55197) to convert 3 existing residential units to condominiums was approved by the committee, 9 Yes, 3 No, subject to compliance with all city requirements.
Drescher Street Map Waiver (Project # 50509) to waive requirements for tentative map to convert 4 existing residential units to condominiums was approved, Yes 12, No 0, subject to compliance with all city requirements. The owner was commended for having remodeled these units in a superb manner.
Drescher Street Map Waiver (Project # 50509) to waive requirements for tentative map to convert 4 existing residential units at 2102 Drescher St. to condominiums was approved, Yes 12, No 0, subject to compliance with all city requirements. The owner was commended for having remodeled these units in a superb manner.
Kearny Mesa Townhomes TM (Project # 49180) to convert 42 existing residential units to condominiums at 7555 Linda Vista Road was approved, Yes 12, No 0, subject to compliance with all city requirements with special attention to city approval that parking may be shared with the adjacent Medical Center.
Riley Street Map Waiver (Project # 52396 – 5928 Riley) and (Project #49463 – 5934 Riley) to waive requirements for a Tentative Map to create 3 residential condominium units at each address was approved, Yes 11, No 1 subject to compliance with all city requirements.
Encroachment Agreement between S. D. City Schools and Bayside Community Center was approved unanimously by the committee. The committee Chair, Ed Cramer, was directed to write a letter of support to the San Diego Unified School District on behalf of the Linda Vista Community Planning Committee.
