Election of officers for the 2007/2008 Term. An election will be held for the office of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. Voting is limited to the nineteen (19) elected members of the new, 2007/2008 Planning Committee. Wayne Bamford,Chair, Nominating Sub-Committee. (10 minutes) Action Item

Election of representatives to the Central Community Planning Committee. A delegate and alternate to the city-wide committee will be elected by the 19 members of the Linda Vista Community Planning Committee. (5 minutes). Action item.

Linda Vista/Clairemont Mesa Rezone/Park Dedication/Community Plan Amendment - In September of 2006 the Linda Vista Planning Committee passed a motion requesting that the Clairemont Mesa Planning Committee join them in permanently protecting the canyon between Mesa College Drive and Genesee Ave. This proposal is a result of that request. The proposal is to adjust the Community Plan boundaries and designate the 6.64 acre City-owned land as Open Space; rezone the City-owned land to Open Space (OP-2-1); and prepare an ordinance that will dedicate in perpetuity the area designated/zoned Open Space, as well as an adjacent 7.03 acres of City-owned land, totalling 13.67 acres as Park Land. 6232 Osler Map Waiver. (Process 3). Map Waiver application to waive the requirements of a Tentative Map and under grounding overhead utilities to create 3 residential condominiums (under construction) on a .222 acre site within the RM-1-1 Zone within the Linda Vista Community Plan. Proposed Kramer Street Speed Bumps near Kit Carson School. Information item to be presented by the Principal of the Kit Carson elementary school, Anne Worrall, for the consideration of the Committee. (10 minutes).
