Napa Street Widening (3-5 members needed)

» Purpose: To ensure that Napa Street, between Linda Vista Road and Morena Blvd., is improved so that it reduces the city-designated F-classification in that stretch. Possible solutions include: widening the west side, east side, or both sides; converting to a one-way street south or north; closing the street and diverting the traffic around the LV Rd./Morena Blvd. Intersection; developing an alternate route that will divert a large part of the traffic. » Purpose: To ensure that the area encompassing the Landscape Maintenance District (which begins on Linda Vista Road at Alcala Knolls Drive and follows through to Genesee Avenue, and also includes Genesee Avenue from Osler Street to the Rte 163 onramp) is kept filled with vibrant trees, bushes and plants; to keep a steady vigil to ensure that ailing trees, plants, and bushes are attended to or replaced ASAP; to handle any landscape complaints from residents at the LMD meetings.
