The Linda Vista Planning Group (formerly Linda Vista Community Planning Committee--LVCPC) is a non-profit organization that represents the many points of view of members of the Linda Vista community.
The Committee meetings provide a forum for residents and business owners to discuss pressing neighborhood issues and to have a role in determining the destiny of Linda Vista.
All meetings are open to the public.

Eligibility for Board of Director Membership
To become a member of the Linda Vista Community Planning Committee, you must complete a membership application and be:
The Linda Vista Community Planning Committee functions as a liaison between the members of the community and the City of San Diego, as well as advising the San Diego City Council, City Planning Department, and other government agencies (as may be be appropriate) regarding a broad range of local planning issues, concerns and activities in the community as they pertain to the Linda Vista Community Plan.
Having a Voice in City Hall helps not only to create a communication network capable of carrying out a number of community-enhancing activities, but assists in resolving community issues in the Greater Linda Vista are.
At the meetings, we typically discuss land-related issues, such as trolley and bus expansions, street repairs and lighting, traffic flow signals (stop signs and traffic lights), building variances, business and home expansion rules, Tecolote Canyon rim issues, etc. Its topics often span into other community issues that might also be discussed at the civic association meetings.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of up to nineteen (19) members, representing a variety of interests, backgrounds, and professions dedicated to the common purpose of the betterment of the Linda Vista Community.
